Q5 Engine Specifications
Technology 45 TFSI : The Q5 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 261bhp and 370Nm of torque. It is paired with a seven-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission through Audi’s famous Quattro AWD system. There is no diesel engine on offer under the VW Group in India and the new Q5 is no exception.
The Q5 comes with multiple drive modes – Eco is for maximum efficiency, whereas Dynamic mode engages the full power that the engine can deliver. However, for most scenarios, the Q5 performs the best in Comfort mode. The drive modes in the Q5 alter the engine and steering response along with suspension characteristics.
